Common questions before you submit
Does it cost anything to use this?
No. Submitting the form is free and it does not commit you to a contractor, a design or a start date. You decide whether to speak to anyone and whether to hire.
Who will contact me?
HyreRemodel first. Our contractor matching is still being built, so we would rather tell you that than imply a network we do not yet have. Where we can introduce companies serving your area we will say so before anything is passed on, and no remodeling contractor receives your details until you have agreed to it.
Will my details be sold?
No. Introducing you to a professional you asked to be introduced to is not the same as selling a list, and we do not do the second thing. The privacy policy sets out what we store and how to have it deleted.
Do I have to give a phone number?
No. The phone field is optional and will stay optional. Consent to be called cannot lawfully be a condition of using a service, so the form sends without it.
Can you tell me what my remodel will cost?
Not from a form, and we will not pretend otherwise. What decides your number is what moves rather than what you choose — plumbing, structure and electrical, not tile, and that is specific to your house. What we can do is help you work out which project you are actually looking at, what a complete proposal should contain, and which questions separate a good company from a cheap one. The cost guide and the calculators are the useful starting points, and neither is gated.
I do not know what I want yet. Is it too early?
No, and "not sure yet" is an option on the form for that reason. Knowing the problem you are solving is more useful than knowing the project name, and a remodel scoped around the wrong problem is the most expensive mistake available. Tell us what is not working and we will point you at the part of the site that helps.
Is HyreRemodel a remodeling contractor?
No. HyreRemodel is an independent information resource and a platform intended to connect homeowners with remodeling contractors. We do not design, build, project-manage or supervise construction, we employ no tradespeople, and we do not rate, vet, recommend or guarantee any company’s work.
